Attentions During The Using Of Fire Clay Bricks
According to the properties and characteristics of fire clay bricks, below three problems should be pay attention during the using process.
1. The slag resistance of fire clay bricks is poor, so it can’t contact with slag and liquid directly, and also can’t directly contact the high temperature dust, otherwise, irreversible damage will be caused to the brick body.
2. Fire clay bricks have a large shrinkage, so the end-use temperature should be 50~100℃ lower than the sintering temperature.
3. The mechanical strength and wear resistance of fire clay bricks are poor, so it can't bear strong pressure which means not overload and over weight in order to prevent the brick body fracturing. It can't also be used in the parts of frequently opening and violent vibration. So the layout of construction should be reasonable to prevent the expansion of crushing.
